A Mom's Inspiration
As a military spouse stationed overseas in Germany, I struggled with the challenges of finding work while raising my child. Determined to create a flexible and fulfilling career, I turned to online options, completing my degree and eventually landing a job with the Air Force upon returning to the States.
However, the demands of a full-time job became overwhelming during my maternity leave with our second child. Working over 60 hours a week, I realized that daycare was seeing more of my kid than I was—a situation I couldn't accept. That pivotal moment led me to transition from a traditional job to becoming a virtual assistant, working part-time.
The Entrepreneurial Leap
After being passed up for a promotion because I was pregnant and not a part of “the good old boys club” my main goal became to replace my Air Force income and work from home while raising my kids.During my three months on maternity leave, I dove intogrowing my online business. Within three months, I not only achieved my goal but surpassed it, landing significant clients and transitioning into the role of an Online Business Manager (OBM). This marked the beginning of my entrepreneurial journey, which has now spanned almost three years.
Life has undergone significant changes since then—my husband's exit from the Army, relocation, and the growth of our family. Throughout these transformations, my focus shifted exclusively to CRM systems, inspired by the impact I witnessed in larger organizations I worked with.
